Why do I have to verify my identity?

Athos Insurance understands the importance of privacy and security. One of the ways we incorporate this into our process is by vetting the identity of our policy holders.

Through Blockscore, a global identity verification agency, we are able to verify the identity of our applicants. There will be one specific page on the online application that asks for bank level identification questions. The information provided will only be used by BlockScore for this verification purpose. Athos Insurance does not store this information in any way, shape, or form. Please note, this ID check has no effect on credit ratings.

If Blockscore is unable to verify our applicants, additional information will be requested to perform a secondary check for approval.
